Everything Starlight does is designed to help families survive when the crisis of serious childhood illness strikes.. The need for Starlight programs is increasing — with a child being admitted to a hospital in Arizona every minute and more than 200,000 seriously ill children statewide. Our programs serve as an integral part of comprehesnive pediatric care and are urgently needed.

With their help, Starlight was able to promote the “Fill Our House With Love” statewide toy drive campaign for Starlight in support of Arizona hospitals on jazz radio station KYOT-FM. Starlight Global Ambassador and Grammy-winning jazz artist Dave Koz personally donated a voiceover for the toy drive’s public service annoucements and heavily promoted the campaign on his radio show, which also airs on the station. Community members and employees of Maracay Homes donated more than 1,000 toys (each valued at $10 to $25) that were distributed to hundreds of pediatric patients.
