The Colgate-Palmolive Company recently celebrated its 22nd year of sponsoring the Starlight Children’s Foundation. As one of Starlight’s longest-standing national partners, Colgate has donated over 1,200 Starlight Fun Centers™ and more than $8 million to our organization in an effort to help improve the lives of young patients and their families. In March 2010, Starlight awarded Noel R. Wallace, President, North America and Global Sustainability for Colgate-Palmolive, with its Jacki Carlish Humanitarian of the Year Award, to honor the Colgate’s 20 year commitment to Starlight.

In keeping with Colgate’s value of Caring, this continued partnership allows Starlight to help seriously ill children and their families cope through entertainment, education and family activities.
To date, Colgate has sponsored the following activities:
- Making an annual corporate contribution to help expand Starlight's programs in order to reach more seriously ill children and their families
- Providing additional direct program support that has placed more than 1,200 Fun Centers and 12 PC Pals in hospitals nationwide, sponsored 60 Great Escapes for Starlight families, and enabled 400 teens to join the Starbright World online social network
- During those years when Starlight formerly granted "wishes", Colgate made more than 1,600 kids’ wishes come true.
- From 2007-2010, Colgate has hosted "Show the Love", an online contest that empowers communities and helps donate Starlight Fun Centers™ to children’s hospitals throughout the country.
