Come out to support Starlight Colorado at the 1st Annual March for Miracles! Experience the tradition of one of the Colorado Springs most unique running/walking events on a spectacular 3.1-Mile course on the USAF Academy grounds starting at the Air Force Academy’s historic Falcon Stadium.
Event Highlights
Children’s Fun Fair and 1-mile fun walk
Awards for age groups 3 deep in each division and winning team members.
Command Challenge: Assemble the largest group of military members, families & friends, register by July and win a prize for your command. Note: Different from the 5-person competitive running team division.
1st Annual March 4 Miracles Run/Walk high-quality, commemorative T-shirt!
Overall male and female race winners to receive round trip United Airline tickets.
Sponsor expo, prize drawings, and live entertainment

Registration
Adult Entry: before July 23rd $30; from July 24th to August 19th $35; after August 20th $40.
Military Active Duty/Seniors (65+): before July 23rd $25; from July 24th to August 19th $30; after August 20th $35.
Children 4-12: before July 23rd $10; July 23rd $25; from July 24th to August 19th $15; after August 20th $20.
Children 3 & under participate free! No registration required.
Competitive 5-person running teams: before July 23rd $185; July 23rd $25; from July 24th $200; after August 20th $230.
Registration closes on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 8:59 a.m. If you register on or before August 6, you'll receive your race number and event information sheet by mail automatically at no charge! These will be mailed to you starting August 1, 2010.
General Public Pre-Race Packet Pickup
Pick up your race packet on Friday, August 27, 2010, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Dicks Sporting Goods Store in The Chapel Hills Mall. Packets include your bib number and t-shirt. If you received your race number in the mail, you MUST bring your race number to pick up your packet and receive a T-shirt. If you did not receive your number by mail, bring a valid ID to claim your packet. You may pick up friends' or family members' race numbers with their authorization.
Military Packet Pickup Events
Friday, August 20 at Air Force Academy AAFES from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, August 21 at Fort Carson Army Base AAFES from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday, August 22 at Peterson AAFES between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Any one with base access and valid ID may register. AAFES is offering a discount on all running shoes and athletic apparel at the AAFES Running Gear Expo! Check out the top running shoes from some of the best brands; Asics, Adidas, Reebok and more! Meet the company reps and register for the race all in one place.
Rules and Regulations
Runners starts promptly at 9 a.m.
Participants line up according to pace per mile.
Walkers will have a separate start line following the runners.
Baby strollers permitted. Sorry, no skateboards, bikes, skates.
Guide dogs only!
This is a certified and sanctioned USAT&F road race.
Team entries must be submitted together.
Your race entry is non-refundable & race numbers are non-transferable. NO ONE ELSE CAN USE YOUR RACE NUMBER.
The event is held rain or shine.
No walk-in, phone or fax registration, and limited registration on race day.
Walkers are encouraged to bring cameras to take some great photos of Air Force Academy. Baby strollers, wheelchairs and guide dogs are permitted.
Skateboards, bikes, in-line skates and pets are welcome but prohibited in the race area and course.
