Project: IMPACT offers a powerful mix of unique, fun and diverse social engagements blended with numerous opportunities for professional and personal growth, while also offering young professionals the opportunity to experience a new level of networking and have a direct and visible impact on the community.
Our Vision
Our vision is to connect, empower and engage young professionals by providing professional and leadership development, volunteer opportunities and unique social engagements in the South Florida Tri County area through Starlight Children's Foundation Florida.
About Project: IMPACT
Project: IMPACT welcomes a diverse group of young professionals between the ages of 22 and 44 who are interested in assuming leadership roles, networking, participating in unique social engagements, and being involved with a dynamic group of people who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the seriously ill children and families that Starlight Children’s Foundation serves.
Since its formation in May 2010, Project: IMPACT has offered immediate leadership opportunities, allowing dedicated young professionals to develop new and innovative ideas for events, while incorporating a charitable component to all their efforts. Project: IMPACT offers the chance for its young professionals to network with other current and future business leaders with diverse backgrounds, career goals and talents.
All members of Project: IMPACT are invited to volunteer with Starlight at exciting Great EscapesTM family activities for Starlight’s seriously ill children and their moms, dads and siblings. Great Escapes are monthly activities that offer Starlight families a chance to enjoy time together outside the medical setting where they can relax, make special memories together and meet other families in similar situations so that they have a network of support. This year’s goal is to raise $10,000 to benefit Starlight’s Great Escapes program.
