Starlight is thrilled that our long-time partnership with Hasbro has continued to grow. Most recently, in 2006, Hasbro committed to provide 30 PC Pals each year for three years to hospitals across the United States. Hasbro's generous commitment has enabled thousands of hospitalized children to have access to entertainment, games, the Internet, instant messaging and Starlight's educational programming.
Starlight and Hasbro have been partners for the last 10 years, but this $450,000, three-year commitment is the company's largest to date.
"We love the work Starlight does to help children who are going through very difficult times, we are so pleased to partner with them to bring some joy to these children when they need it most."
-Karen Davis, Vice President of Community Relations for Hasbro, Inc.
Hasbro has also sponsored Great Escapes, donated toys, and created cause-related marketing promotions that raise funds for seriously ill children and their families. In 2004, they rolled out the “pink carpet” for Starlight kids in Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago, creating a movie event around the release of their latest My Little Pony home video.
