Jacqueline
Hart-Ibrahim joined Starlight in 2010 after Korn Ferry International completed
their global search for a new executive that possessed a unique blend of
strategic leadership, business acumen and philanthropic experience. Jacquie
spent 22 years in the financial sector in roles that included Division General
Manager at Household International/HSBC (Chicago), Senior Vice President/Group
Head at Wells Fargo (San Francisco) and Senior Vice President at Neuberger
Berman (New York). She led over 1,000 FTE, $40 million in budgets, and nearly
$30 billion in assets under advisement.
Jacquie's
philanthropy includes more than two decades of experience as a funder with
corporate and community foundations including work with and support of The San
Diego Foundation, Carlsbad Charitable Foundation, San Diego Grantmakers, San
Diego Women's Foundation, Council on Foundations, and Grantmakers for Effective
Organizations. She has spent decades serving on nonprofit boards and
volunteering with organizations whose missions have a strong focus on
education, philanthropy, women, and children including: Junior Achievement,
Girl Scouts, National Charity League, Dubnoff Center for Child Development,
Autism Tree Project Foundation, Interfaith Community Services, California State
University San Marcos Foundation, and the Cal Alumni Association.
Jacquie
holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in
international political economy from UC Berkeley. She earned an MBA in global
management and a doctorate in organizational leadership. Additionally, she
holds a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from Indiana University and a
Certificate in Positive Business and Society Change from Case Western Reserve
University.
