Everyone in the family is affected when a child has a serious medical condition. Starlight MidAtlantic provides entertainment, education, and family activities to distract children from their pain, help them better manage their illnesses, and connect them with others facing similar challenges. Programming for families costs $25 for a family of four for one week, $100; for one month and $1200; for a year. Click here to help and make a secure donation.

- aFun CenterTM: $4,250. A Fun Center mobile entertainment unit containing a Nintendo WiiTM game system, Sharp AQUOSTM television and DVD player provides games and movies to pediatric patients in the hospital of your choice.
Help send a Fun Center"! to Frederick Memorial Hospital!Since 2008, Frederick Memorial Hospital (FMH) has been waiting for a newFun Center loaded with 22 Wii Nintendo games and lots of kid-friendly movies to distract and entertain pediatric patients. Each year, FMH sees 1,160 pediatric inpatients and 14,000 pediatric emergency patients who would enjoy having a newFun Center to occupy their time in the hospital.
The MOMS Club of Frederick North is leading the charge with a generous donation of $267. If FMH is to get their newFun Centerwithin the next 90 days, your help is needed! Click here to give toward a Fun Center at Frederick Memorial.

- aGreat EscapeTM: $2,000 per Great Escape. The Great Escapes family activity program provides groups of seriously ill children and their families with the chance to spend recreational time together to relax, regroup and make special memories at events like the circus, the zoo, picnics, and ball games.
- In-hospital Entertainment: $1,500 for 50 hours. For children in the hospital, the ability to share a laugh or song with family members, roommates, and caregivers can be the best medicine possible. Entertainers include musicians, artists, clowns, and magicians.
- Admit Kit: $500 for 250 bags, $200 for 25 pillows. Admit Kits provide comfort, entertainment, and distractions for children upon admission to the hospital. The Admit Kit Pillow is one of children s favorite items as they can have their doctors, nurses, families and friends sign with a positive message.
