Starlight MidAtlantic In Kind Needs
Donated goods and services help Starlight MidAtlantic direct more funding to programs in the hospital, in the community, and on the web that brighten the world for seriously ill children and their families. In-kind donations also add to the events and keep them running smoothly. Tax receipts are provided to donors for the value of the gift.
Starlight MidAtlantic families appreciate donations such as:
- Tickets to activities and attractions in Washington DC, Baltimore, Dover, Wilmington, Philadelphia, Hershey, Williamsport, Erie, Pittsburgh, Morgantown, Charleston, Arlington, Roanoke, Richmond, Norfolk and anywhere in between, including: museums, attractions, shows, games, sporting events, circuses, movies, etc.
- Lunches and treats for Day Brighteners and Great Escapes family events
- Give aways to brighten the world for children in the hospital and at events
- Silent auction items (for the annual Taste of the Stars Gala)
- Birthday cards for toddlers to teens
- Thinking of you cards for families whose children have passed
- Musical or acting talents to visit children in the hospital
- Craft supplies for Hospital Happenings
- Books for children and especially teens
- Toys for children in the hospital during the holidays
- Catering services for meals at events
- Floral arrangements for events
- Graphic design services
- Rental equipment for events
- Pro bono printing of marketing collateral (brochures/folders/etc)
