Coping with Chemo

Facing cancer as a teen can be scary and overwhelming. Teens with cancer typically struggle with numerous questions, such as "Am I going to die?"

Many times at this difficult developmental stage they lack the skills and maturity to ask questions that can help allay their fears. The result is that they needlessly face their illness feeling alone and frightened.

That's why Starlight Starbright created Coping with Chemo™. Developed with the input of a nationwide team of teen cancer survivors and medical experts, Coping with Chemo is a series of online animated vignettes that chronicle the stories of two teens with cancer and their struggle to cope with their disease and treatment.
These vignettes help answer questions teens might have about their disease and treatment, and help them cope with nausea, vomiting, hair loss, loss of friends and normal life, and returning to school after an extended absence.

Coping with Chemo has won numerous awards, including One Show Interactive, Horizon Interactive Best of Category and a Gold Summit Creative Award.
