This interactive graphically rich program helps kids ages 6 to 10 prepare for MRIs, CT Scans, and X-Rays.
Your patients can click on the machines to hear the actual sounds they make, view real results, and find out what to wear so you don't have to put on a gown during the MRI. Kids also find tips for making the test go by a little easier.

Medical Imaging: Welcome to the Radiology Center is an interactive online game, which was developed as a tool for children to actively explore information about medical procedures and conditions in kid-friendly language. Children search for meaning about their illness from a very young age, and studies have shown that children who are provided with information cope more effectively than children who are protected from such knowledge. Interactive media can be helpful in conveying this information, as it provides a way for children to seek information at their own pace, see animations of what is happening in their body or what doctors learn from tests, hear the sounds of machines they will experience, learn from the experiences of peers, and learn coping strategies.
