StarPower Ambassadors

Starlight's StarPower program enables young people to help seriously ill children. Spearheading the initiative are a special group of StarPower Ambassadors -- young film and television actors, athletes and performers who have committed to use their time, energy and initiative on behalf of seriously ill children and their families.  
 
StarPower Ambassadors do such things as:

  • Use their own personal “star power” to brighten the lives of young patients with hospital visits, in-hospital entertainment performances or chats with teens in our online   community Starbright World 
  • Host Great Escapes –  special outings for Starlight families such as sporting events, performances and once-in-a-lifetime experiences
  • Speak publicly about Starlight to spread awareness of how others can reach out to help seriously ill children and their families
  • Organize and/or participate in fundraising efforts to generate revenue used to provide programs and services for Starlight children
  • Participate as an ambassador in connection with national Starlight activities

Bailee Madison

Best known for capturing the hearts of millions with her role as May Belle in Disney's Bridge to Terabithia, Bailee's talent as an actress will soon be on display in a variety of diverse and demanding roles, co-starring with some of the industry's biggest stars in the upcoming films Brothers (with Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire), An Invisible Sign of My Own (with Jessica Alba), Betty Anne Waters (with Hilary Swank), Letters To God, the true and inspiring story of a young boy's struggle with cancer, and finally, Guillermo del Toro's Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (with Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce) in which she has the starring role. Bailee has also left lasting impressions with her performances in the feature film Phoebe in Wonderland (with Felicity Huffman and Elle Fanning) and on the small screen in Nickelodeon's Christmas-time hit, Merry Christmas Drake and Josh.

Allen Alvarado

Allen Alvarado has a knack for overachieving. At the ripe age of four, he decided that he wanted to be an actor. His goal was to be the sidekick of Conan O’Brian on his nightly show. After this realization, Allen began to audition for commercials in his hometown of Chicago, and landed a national spot for Ballpark Franks. Since then, he has appeared in a number of national commercials.

Allen got his first glimpse of a movie set when he appeared in “On The Line” with Lance Bass and Joey Fatone from NSync. In Chicago, he has also appeared in the Goodman Theater’s presentation of “A Christmas Carol,” in which he shined as Tiny Tim. Playing Lex on “Flight 29 Down” marked Allen’s national TV debut. Since the series has ended, he has appeared in a number of television shows, such as “Cold Case,” “American Dad,” “10 Things I Hate About You,” “Sons of Tucson,” and “Parenthood,” as well as a few independent features.

In his free time, Allen enjoys playing his video games and guitar. He has aspirations of adding musician to his resume, as well remaining a force in the acting world.

Austin Anderson

Austin is currently hard at work in the recording studio with Disney producer Charlton Pettus (Jesse McCartney, Hilary Duff). Already, two tracks “Your Song” and “Around the World” have been spun on Radio Disney. While recording, Austin has been busy promoting his music and playing local shows at various venues, including appearances at House of Blues Sunset, Anaheim and San Diego. He just finished up performing across Southern California as part of The Six Flags Magic Mountain Summer Concert Series.

Austin is the quintessential triple threat, demonstrating exceptional vocal, dance and acting talents. His resume includes a sketch on The Jay Leno Show as Jay’s son and an impromptu dance party with Ellen on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. You can see him on the new Nickelodeon show "Victorious."

Ashley Argota

Born in Redlands, CA, Ashley had her first audition at the age of nine when she wowed at the legendary Apollo Theater in New York during one of their amateur night contests, beating out more than 200 aspiring entertainers. At that moment, her career was launched, and she was immediately asked to appear on “Showtime at the Apollo” as the Star of Tomorrow. After that, Ashley landed a lead role in the stage production of “The Lion King” where she traveled around the country performing to sell-out audiences and standing ovations.

Ashley can currently be seen entertaining audiences and fans on the hit Nickelodeon show “True Jackson VP” as Lulu, the fun-loving, silly and sassy best friend and fashion assistant to True (Keke Palmer). In addition to her acting, Ashley is also a talented and fantastic singer, whose song “CD Baby” has received rave reviews. When Ashley isn’t acting or singing, she is engulfed in her education and loves school. She is an honor student and excels in math and writing and is currently working toward getting accepted into a top-notch university.

Brennan Bailey 

It's not every young teen that can say, “I'm a pretty lucky kid to get a job where I sit and get hugged by Cameron Diaz all day.” Brennan Bailey was the chosen one, as he co-starred alongside Diaz in the 2009 heart-warming feature film “My Sister's Keeper.” Originally a theater actor back in the Northwest, Brennan got his taste for the camera when advertisers chose him for a Clorox TV campaign at just 6 years old. 

Upon relocating to Hollywood with his family, Brennan quickly garnered credits in both film and TV. His impressive list of co-stars continues to grow, most recently to include Courtney Cox when he appeared on her ABC comedy hit “Cougar Town” and Simon Baker as Brennan worked on the CBS drama “The Mentalist.” To date, his favorite gig remains his trip to Budapest, Hungary to shoot the feature film “Amusement” alongside his real-life brother. 

When not in the acting limelight, Brennan enjoys honing his artistic skills by playing the guitar, writing and producing home movies with his friends.

Preston Bailey

Fans know him as Cody from the award-winning Showtime hit “DEXTER,” but 9-year-old Preston Bailey is just beginning to grace our screens with his huge talent and soulful presence. Upon arriving in Hollywood at age 5, Preston was hired to portray an orphan on the Lifetime drama “Strong Medicine.” More TV roles soon followed, including a stint as Young Mac on “It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and a guest spot on the CBS favorite “Cold Case.” 

In 2007, Preston was thrilled to spend over a month in Budapest, Hungary, filming alongside his real-life brother Brennan in the Warner Brothers feature “Amusement.”  His next film brought him back to the states where he worked as a lead alongside Kate Beckinsale and David Schwimmer in the thriller “Nothing But The Truth.” Besides his impressive acting career at such a young age, Preston is a favorite of ad agencies with dozens of national commercials to his credit. 

Aside from acting, Preston enjoys just being a kid; riding his bike, swimming, skateboarding, and hanging out with his brother. He aspires to graduate from college and become a pilot, wildlife biologist, director and philanthropist (all at the same time, of course).

Ethan Bortnick

Ethan Bortnick is a pianist, musician, composer, songwriter, actor and artist. Ethan is making history as the youngest entertainer, composer and musician to record a DVD with his own live concert for worldwide distribution. Ethan, has recently performed and amazed audiences on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Good Morning America," "Access Hollywood,” “Inside Edition," "Martha Stewart," CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS, Nelly Furtado Opening tour, and much more! Ethan has wowed audiences all over the globe and has recently played to the astonishment of Jay Leno, Cameron Diaz, Diane Sawyer, Patti Labelle, Gloria Gaynor, Rush Limbaugh, Jason Alexander, John Voight, Elliot Gould, Kevin Eubanks, Martha Stewart, and many more! Ethan continues to perform to sold out crowds, and has recently performed 2 live performances for more than 20,000 people. Ethan recorded for Disney’s “Little Einsteins” and continues to perform for both live concerts and television shows.

Devin Brochu

After appearing in various print campaigns as a baby, Devin and his family moved to Los Angeles when he was eight years old. Devin’s credits include roles in the television series “CSI: NY” and “Joey,” and the independent feature, “The Garage,” opposite Martin Donovan.

In 2006, Devin played Charlize Theron’s son in the Paul Haggis film “In the Valley of Elah,” and followed it with roles in the Hallmark Channel’s “Chasing a Dream,” in the film “Shadow Heart” with Angus MacFadyen and as the younger version of Matthew McConaughey’s lothario character in “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.”

Devin recently starred opposite Natalie Portman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the film “Hesher,” which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and focuses on Devin’s character T.J., and the way he copes with the recent horrible loss of his mother. Devin also recently wrapped production on the independent avant-garde feature “Rubber.”

Field Cate

A professional actor since the age of six, Field Cate has been steadily establishing a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Most notable has been his series-regular role on ABC’s critically acclaimed “Pushing Daisies”—a portrayal that earned him a Young Artist Award nomination in 2008. Field has also starred in several commercials, played the haunting lead in Placebo’s video “Song to Say Goodbye,” and had dramatic roles on the hit TV shows “Without a Trace” and “Cold Case.” Switching gears in 2009, Field lent his voice to the role of a Golden Retriever puppy named Buddha for the popular Disney DVDs “Space Buddies” and “Santa Buddies.”

An aspiring filmmaker, Field enjoys writing, directing, and videography. He also loves singing, including being the lead vocalist of his own band, and participating in local musical theater productions.

ChloeJ

Chloe Jordache (aka ChloeJ) began developing her extraordinary talents and passion for singing, acting and dance at the early age of two. By the time she was 12, she recorded seven original songs, and her music and acting career began. She landed a K-Mart commercial, was featured in a Three 6 Mafia (Doe Boy Fresh) music video and was the supporting lead in “The Road to Asylum,” which was nominated for a Best Children’s Film award at the 168 Hour Film Festival in Hollywood. ChloeJ was chosen by the legendary Quincy Jones to perform the lead vocals for “We Are the World” at his 50th tribute anniversary in entertainment.

ChloeJ is currently a host for AllStarPlanet.com and is not only an amazingly talented artist, but is a role model to young adults. She is a regular performer with a school tour program, using her singing and dancing talent to encourage young people to commit to their education.

Jillian Clare

Jillian Clare began her career at just 6 years old and has appeared on both the big and small screen with numerous national commercials and films to her credit along with her double award-winning portrayal of pre-teen Abby Deveraux on NBC's “Days Of Our Lives” and a supporting role in the blockbuster film “Spider-Man.” Her stage background includes hit musicals such as “Annie Get Your Gun,” “The Music Man,” “Meet Me in St. Louis,” an extended run as Scout in "To Kill A Mockingbird," and, most recently, as a Bosnian refugee in the Eve Ensler masterpiece “Necessary Targets.”
 
Besides acting, the ambitious 17-year-old is an avid singer and recording artist with songs on several CDs from her younger years, including “Soap Sessions 8” (Christmas Album) and “The Hollywood Hooligans ROCK.” Jillian has recently learned to play the guitar and is currently working on new original songs with plans to release an EP soon!

Aside from performing, Jillian lends her support to a variety of causes geared toward children and her four-legged friends. Look for Jillian in May 2010 in her new teen web series on missbehave.tv

Romi Dames

You may know Romi Dames as the nasal-voiced, super-snobby socialite, Traci Van Horn on Disney's "Hannah Montana." Romi has also lent her voice to Disney on the animated programs "Phineas & Ferb" and "Kick Buttowski."  Other credits include recurring guest star roles on "The Young and the Restless" and "Bill Nye the Science Guy." Romi was nominated for a regional Emmy for hosting the teen news program "Watch This!" Romi recently decided she wanted to be a one-hit wonder, and wrote/recorded the song "Christmas List (Of Excuses)." She has a warm spot in her heart for kittens and happy people.

Allen Evangelista

With numerous guest spots on shows like “Alias,” “Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles” and ‘Ghost Whisperer,” Allen is a promising up-and-coming actor. He had his first "break" as a regular guest on Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101." Allen has been working steady since, shooting a lead role in "Mozart and the Whale," opposite Josh Hartnett, and a supporting role with Seann William Scott in "Ball's Out: Gary the Tennis Coach." You can currently see him playing "Henry Miller," one of the stars of ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."

Tyler Foden

Tyler Foden had an early start with developing his stage presence at the age of two. By the time he was twelve, he was studying acting as a full time student by attending acting classes six days a week. Driven by his intrinsic desire to constantly be creative, Tyler participated in acting contests. A defining moment was when Tyler was awarded 'Pre-Teen Actor of the Year' in 2005 and that was the inspiration Tyler needed to transition into film. Tyler catapulted into the industry by landing a role in a Disney’s film “Air Buddies” and subsequently appears in Disney’s film sequel “Snow Buddies.” In addition to the made for TV movie, “Ben 10: Race Against Time,” Tyler’s other film credits include three short films “I Don’t Eat Lambs,” “Borderline,” and “Kamakazie Beethoven.” As a segway from film, Tyler broke into television and can be seen on a variety of different television shows including “iCarly,” “Veronica Mars,” “Medium,” and “It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.” It is probable that you might recognize Tyler from different television commercials too.

Mia Rose Frampton

Mia Rose Frampton was born in 1996 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Grammy Award winning rock legend Peter Frampton. Mia studied dance from the age of five and attended prestigious performing arts programs at the Cincinnati School for the Creative Performing Arts and at Interlochen.

Mia’s talents were recognized by her manager Lori Knight in 2008 after working with her in a local acting workshop. Shortly thereafter, Mia and her mom packed up and moved west to Hollywood. Determined to make it on her own merits, Mia immersed herself in training with the best acting coaches and pounded the pavement auditioning like all the other tweens in pursuit of “the dream.”

In 2009, Mia was cast in the ABC FAMILY drama “Make It or Break It” as Becca Keeler, younger sister to series lead Payson Keeler. Now Mia is off to New Orleans to shoot her first feature-film “Tolerance,” is in production with season two of “Make It or Break It,” and continues playing guitar, singing and writing her own songs.

Kristy Frank

Kristy Frank is a seasoned rock songstress taking the industry by storm. This California native fell in love with performing at an early age, commanding the respect and attention of audiences worldwide. At ten, she signed her first deal with Transcontinental Music Group propelling her into the industry, where she built and developed long-lasting relationships with Radio Disney and other major players aiding in her development as an artist.

Simultaneously, Kristy's charisma in the studio and her continued growth, passion and work ethic have led her to make hits with such major producers as Eddie Kramer, Ron Harris and Andrew Lane. Her catchy music, big voice and outgoing personality have taken her down the path of the international superstar. After catching the attention of the biggest label in Japan, Kristy was on the next flight out—guitar in hand, ready to begin writing, recording and performing new music for her international fans. She's an experienced performer, having been a part of numerous tours over the years that have allowed her to build an impressive and loyal worldwide fan base.

Devon Gearhart

Devon’s career started with a wonderful role as the young Bobby Jones in the Warner Bros. film “Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius” directed by Rowdy Herrington and starring James Caveziel. From there, Devon was fortunate enough to work with Christopher Reeve on his last project before passing away, the “Brooke Ellison Story,” and shortly after, landed one of the lead roles in the Emmy-winning HBO film “Warm Springs,” alongside Cynthia Nixon and Kathy Bates.

Devon has starred in the critically-acclaimed films “Canvas,” with Marcia Gay Harden, “Funny Games” alongside Naomi Watts, and in Clint Eastwood’s “The Changeling,” starring Angelina Jolie; he will be switching gears to comedy with a lead role in the Robert Rodriguez, Warner Bros. film “Shorts” scheduled for release later this year. Additionally, Devon’s TV credits include Showtime’s “Weeds,” as well as ABC’s “Lost.”

When he’s not acting, Devon enjoys extreme martial arts, running track for his school and spending time with friends and his beloved pets.

Sammi Hanratty

Sammi Hanratty is no stranger to the big and small screen. She was recently cast as leads in two feature films that shot on location—“The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone” was shot in Thailand, while “The Greening of Whitney Brown,” in which Sammi plays the title character, and also stars Brooke Shields, Aidan Quinn, and Kris Kristofferson, was shot in Georgia.

Sammi can currently be seen playing the title character of Chrissa Maxwell in “An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong,” as well as several characters in Disney's “A Christmas Carol,” starring Jim Carrey. Her numerous TV credits have included recurring roles on "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" (as Holly), "The Unit" (as Jenny Gerhardt) with her sister Danielle Hanratty, and "Pushing Daisies" (as Young Chuck).

Zane Huett 

Zane wanted to be an actor at a very young age and by age four he had an agent. He was featured in "Daddy Day Care" and the Gregg Araki film "Mysterious Skin." For four seasons, Zane played the role of Felicity Huffman and Doug Savants's son Parker Scavo on ABC's "Desperate Housewives." Zane can be seen in the feature film "Dear Lemon Lima," where he portrayed the character Hercules Howard. Zane is a typical kid who loves hanging out with his friends, playing football, baseball and dirt biking. He loves to read and plays the guitar and trumpet. He loves being an actor not only because he has the opportunity to work with amazingly talented people and portraying different characters, but he absolutely loves being involved with wonderful charities like Starlight, which helps bring happiness to those in need.

Nadji Jeter

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Nadji is a multi-talented entertainer whose family discovered that the rambunctious youth had a gift in dancing, acting, modeling and music. Despite his young age, Nadji’s talents have caught the eye of several A-list celebrities, giving him the opportunity to perform for Usher’s New Look Foundation Gala in New York City in 2005, for Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jermaine Dupri and a host of other entertainment icons.

In 2007, Nadji’s talents and love for the entertainment industry grew to such heights that he was ready to move to Los Angeles. Nadji was selected to do a voice-over in the Clint Eastwood film “Changeling,” appeared in ABC’s “The Forgotten,” episodes of the CW’s “Everybody Hates Chris,” and an episode of ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy.” Nadji has also done commercials and has been featured in print ads for McDonalds, Nike, Subway restaurants, Donna Karen and others.

Nadji will star in the films “Grown Ups,” alongside Adam Sandler and Chris Rock, “Lower Learning” with Eva Longoria Parker, and as the lead actor in “Opposite Day,” all set to release in 2010.

Dominic Scott Kay

Dominic Scott Kay has more than two dozen films to his credit, including Steven Spielberg's “Minority Report,” in which he played Tom Cruise's son, “Pirate’s of the Caribbean: At World’s End,” as Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly's son, “Charlotte’s Web” as the voice of ‘Wilbur,’ “The Little Engine That Could,” as the voice of ‘Richard,’ among many others. He has directed two short films, the first starring Kevin Bacon, and he is directing his first full length feature this summer. Dominic is currently recording his first album and writes his own music, and sings and plays piano and guitar.

Ashlee Keating

Ashlee is a 16-year-old singer/songwriter, actress, dancer and guitarist. She began performing at the age of three and has since been proving herself as a naturally talented artist. She has opened for Disney stars Demi Lovato and Raven-Symoné, as well as Nickelodeon star Keke Palmer.
Ashlee was chosen as a Radio Disney Up and Coming Artist (Incubator Program) in 2008. Daisy Rock Guitar Company recently recognized her originality and endorsed Ashlee as one of their artists. Starshine magazine recently referred to Ashlee as the next "Tween Queen," as well as the next Demi Lovato. She has appeared in TV, film, commercials and on Broadway, and in the National Tour at the age of five as Gretl in “The Sound of Music with Richard Chamberlain.”

Ashlee continues to perform regularly and recently was a headliner for Radio Disney's Summer Concert Series in New Jersey.

Nathan Kress

Born in Glendale, CA, Nathan began acting at the early age of three and can remember auditioning and booking parts in commercials, print ads and doing various voiceovers. He landed his first paying job in a sketch for “The Jimmy Kimmel Show” playing a young Simon Cowell of “American Idol.” Realizing that acting was his calling, Nathan studied and began booking guest-starring roles on such shows as “Without a Trace,” “Standoff,” “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody,” “House MD,” “Notes from the Underbelly,” and, most recently, “CSI” (2010). However, it was his guest role on Nickelodeon’s top-rated show “Drake and Josh” that led the network executives and the show’s creator Dan Schneider to take notice and cast him in Nickelodeon’s #1 rated show “iCarly” as Freddie Benson.

Peyton R. List

Peyton List, a New York-based actress and model is definitely making a name for herself. Starting out in national commercials and print ads, Peyton quickly added theatrical roles to her resume. She has appeared in “Gossip Girl,” “Cashmere Mafia,” “Confessions of a Shopaholic” and “27 Dresses,” playing the younger version of Katherine Heigl's character, Jane. Peyton has a few feature films releasing in 2010, from “Remember Me” with Robert Pattinson, Disney’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” and “Going the Distance” with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long, to an original telepic, “Secrets in the Walls.”

Spencer List

Spencer has appeared on FOX’s “Fringe,” “Law and Order: SVU,” “One Life to Live,” “Saturday Night Live,” and “The Late Show with David Letterman.” He got his start in commercials and print ads for leading fashion and commercial advertisers, both solo and with his twin sister, Peyton. Spencer stars in the upcoming films “Bereavement,” “Sibling,” “Offspring,” and in the short film “Disappearing Days.”

Joey Luthman

Joey began entertaining at the dinner table at age two with impressions, songs, dances, and lots of personality. His first gig was at the age of four at the Dayton Playhouse. By age eight, Joey’s resume included more than 25 theatrical productions, several TV appearances and regional commercials.

Joey has recurring roles on ABC’s “Private Practice” as Evan and on Nickolodeon’s “iCarly” as Dave. He played Rad Ferris in the fourth season of Showtime’s “Weeds,” and guest roles include CBS’s “Eleventh Hour” and ABC’s “October Road.” Joey has also appeared in several feature films—“An American Carol,” directed by David Zucker and starring Kevin Farley and Kelsey Grammer, “Forget Me Not” as the younger Cody Linley, and “Kissing Strangers” with Andy Dick and Seymour Castle.

Joey is known as a quadruple threat: singer, dancer, actor and musician, as he demonstrated on “The Tyra Banks Show” in 2007. In 2009, he won The Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series as a Guest Star for “Private Practice” and was nominated for Best in TV as a Recurring Role for his work on “Weeds” and Best Young Actor in a Short Film for “Stars and Suns.”

Chris Massey

Christopher Massey, the older brother of Kyle Massey, began his acting career at a young age appearing in commercials for Cap`n Crunch, Pop Tarts and McDonalds, as well as several commercials with Kyle for Burger King, Disney and Pepsi. He became an overnight sensation when he was cast as Michael Barret in the Emmy-nominated Nickelodeon TV show "Zoey 101." During that time, Chris was named one of Teen People’s "25 Hottest Stars Under 25.” Since his work concluded on “Zoey,” he has continued to work alongside his brother and now both star in the series, “World’s Funniest Moments,” while also focusing on their music careers and new record label (Massey Boy Records).

Kyle Massey

Kyle Orlando Massey, the younger brother of Christopher Massey, got his big break in 2003 when he was cast in the popular Disney sitcom "That's So Raven," where he starred as Cory, the mischievous, money-obsessed brother of the main character, Raven-Symoné. From there, Kyle went on to star in his very own show "Cory in the House," a spin off of "Raven” and another huge success for the Disney channel. Kyle now continues his work with Disney as one of the voices in a new animated series called “Fish Hooks.” Back in his home city of Atlanta, Kyle also has been busy working with his brother on their music career under their own record label (Massey Boy Records).

Jennette McCurdy

Jennette McCurdy plays Sam Puckett on Nickelodeon’s Emmy-nominated hit show “iCarly.” Her acting credits also include “Law & Order: SVU,” “Medium,” “Close to Home,” “Malcolm in the Middle,” and most recently the role of Pinky Turzo on “True Jackson V.P.”

Singing has also been a passion for Jennette. Her part of “the little girl” in Faith Hill’s “The Way You Love Me” music video ignited a desire in Jennette to one day have a country hit of her own. Chloe Grace Moretz

Chloe Grace Moretz began a career in entertainment at the tender age of five in New York City as a national model in many print outlets and TV commercials. In 2010, Chloe will be starring in three highly anticipated films: “Diary of a Wimpy Kid,” the theatrical remake of Jeff Kinney’s popular children’s book series; the much-anticipated film adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic book “Kick-Ass” with Nicolas Cage; and as the lead role in Matt Reeve’s “Let Me In,” a famous vampire tale based on the Swedish novel “Let The Right One In.”

Zoe Myers

Zoe Myers is a multi-talented singer/songwriter who also acts, models and writes. Zoe has opened for The Jonas Brothers at the Rock-n-Fashion Show in Rome, GA, and has a song on Warner Bros’ “The Utopian Society” feature film soundtrack. As an actress, Myers had a small role in Columbia Pictures’ “ATL," and she played Jennifer in “Dance of the Dead” from Lions Gate. She can be seen in episodes of MTV's "House of Jazmin" with her friend Jazmin Whitley. She is the lead girl in Simple Plan’s music video “When I’m Gone” that also has a cameo by Perez Hilton. She is the lead in A Skylit Drive’s "Those Cannons Could Sink a Ship" in addition to videos from The Jonas Brothers, Raul Midon and The Rocket Summer. Zoe also co-wrote and stars in a web TV series due out in 2010 called “My Mother Agent."

Kay Panabaker

Kay Panabaker, a university graduate at just 17, is recognized by teenagers for her role on TV’s “Summerland,” by younger fans for her work on Disney Channel and by adults for TV appearances that in 2007 included “CSI,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “Boston Legal,” and “Two & 1/2 Men.” The last year has seen her labeled “One to Watch” by The Hollywood Reporter and awarded trophies at two film festivals, while the family film “Moondance Alexander,” in which she played the title role, won five awards in US, Canadian, and European festivals. She also starred in MGM’s remake of the hit movie “Fame.”

Ciana Pelakai

Ciana’s passion and love is singing and performing for the stage and television. At six years old, she began taking vocal lessons, and in July 2009 appeared on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” singing her heart out to Etta James’ “At Last.” Since then, Ciana has sang with jazz artist Michael Paulo, was voted one of the top ten finalists at the All Star Planet Gala in Hollywood and was presented a proclamation certificate for her aloha spirit by the governor of her home state of Hawaii.

Rob Pinkston

Rob is best known for both his role on MTV’s “Punk’d” as well as his recurring role as the loveable Coconuthead on the hit Nickelodeon show “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.” His film credits include “The Derby Stallion,” “The Sasquatch Gang,” “If I’d Known I was a Genius,” and “Extreme Movie.”

While attending college, Rob lends his voice to commercials, video games and television shows, including PBS’s “Danger Rangers” and Cartoon Networks’ “Ben 10.”

Haley Ramm

At nine, Haley began booking roles in indies and shorts in her native Texas and since arriving in Los Angeles six years ago, 17-year-old Haley has landed roles in blockbuster films and on primetime TV. “I was that little kid who always knew what I wanted to do. I dragged my parents to Hollywood and convinced them that I could make it.”
 
One of her most recent film roles is that of Mary Wheeler in “Skateland,” a coming of age drama set to make its world premiere at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Also in 2010, she stars as Kallea Whitney in “Touchback,” a drama about making good choices in a bad environment. Other film credits include the Young Jean Grey in “X Men: The Last Stand;” Brittany Loud, one half of the annoying brother and sister passenger duo in “Flightplan;” the young Carine in a heart-wrenching scene from Sean Penn's critically-acclaimed “Into The Wild.” Ramm’s small screen resume includes two seasons on “Without a Trace” and guest appearances on more than a dozen other shows including “Grey's Anatomy,” “CSI” and “ER.” In 2009, she took a comedic turn as Missy Robinson in a starring role on Nickelodeon’s top-rated “iCarly.”

Tyler Shamy

Born in New Jersey, Tyler is an actor, singer, songwriter, dancer, voiceover artist and model. He is one of the top 100 unsigned music artists on MySpace’s California Pop List, and has been featured internationally on radio stations in more than 15 major markets, including Radio Disney and Clear Channel. As one of Radio Disney’s featured incubator artists, Ty has performed at several reputable concerts and venues, such as Whisky a Go Go, Six Flags, the OC Fair, Girlfest, Kidfest and more. He has entertained thousands and performed among acts like Sheryl Crow.

Tyler has been in numerous regional and professional musical theatre productions, such as the Off-Broadway showcase of “Wuthering Heights.” He has also worked on many TV/film projects, including the Emmy-Award winning soap “General Hospital” and a feature film called “Bold Native.” Tyler has also appeared in commercials for 7-11 and Guitar Hero and a music video for the Black Eyed Peas.

Rachel Sibner

Rachel Sibner has had a passion for acting since a very young age. She is best known for her 2 1/2 year stint on “Ned’sDeclassified School Survival Guide” as the lovable allergic nerd, ‘Lisa Zemo,’ who went from “snotty” to “hotty.” Her most recent project was an independent film titled “Miriam,” written and directed by Kamran Pasha, a producer of the current series, “Bionic Woman.” Rachel held the lead role in this very intense film. She is also very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of Starlight!

Lauren Storm stars as ‘Taylor’ on the NBC/Discovery Kids series “Flight 29 Down.” As a child in Chicago, Lauren began modeling at age 11. KayCee Stroh is best known as the pop-and-lock girl Martha Cox in Disney's ‘High School Musical” movies. Born in Salt Lake City, KayCee began dancing at the age of two. Gregg Sulkin

Gregg is a young British actor, who recently entered the pop scene of Disney teen stars. His acting debut at 13 was in the movie "Sixty Six" with a starring role alongside Bernie Rubens and Helena Bonham Carter. Gregg also played the series role of JJ in the Disney Channel UK comedy "As the Bell Rings." Starring on the show for more than two seasons, Sulkin developed a solid fan base in the UK. Since then, he has been featured on shows for NBC/BBC UK, including a series regular role in 2009 on the CBBC children’s sci-fi show "The Sarah Jane Adventures."

Gregg recently landed his first US acting gig, joining the cast of Disney Channel’s Emmy Award-winning show "Wizards of Waverly Place" as Mason Greybeck, new boyfriend to the show’s main character played by Selena Gomez. Called the "Zac Efron" of the UK by some critics, Gregg's on-and-off screen charm will be sure to win over the hearts of teenage girls everywhere.

Brittany Sullivan

Brittany Sullivan, 17, was crowned America's Miss Teen on July 4, 2009. She has tailored her pageant platform around her commitment to Starlight, encouraging peers to volunteer, leading fundraising initiatives and involving her school in activities to support Starlight. Brittany also does countless speaking engagements to local businesses and organizations to gain support for Starlight programs.

As America's Miss Teen 2009, she plans to travel the nation increasing awareness of the many benefits of education, leadership and volunteerism for today's youth.

Her love for Starlight's Great Escapes family activity program is so great that she's even created her own signature event. The children light-up when she gets down on their level and chats with them. They love getting their pictures taken with a Teen Queen! She has also achieved a personal fundraising goal to sponsor not one but TWO Fun Center mobile entertainment units, which she donated to DC-area hospitals. She is currently fundraising for her third Fun Center.

Aria Wallace has been performing since she could sing her ABCs. At age five, she and her family moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams and career. Aria landed her first job on “The Bernie Mac Show.” She has starred on many hit television shows, such as “That 70’s Show,” “Desperate Housewives,” “CSI,” “Judging Amy,” and many more. 

When Aria was seven, she landed the part of Hilary Duff’s little sister and Heather Locklear’s daughter Zoey in Universal’s feature “The Perfect Man.” Soon after in 2006, she landed the coveted role of Roxy Hunter in the Roxy Hunter franchise of movies, books and merchandising. Aria filmed four Roxy Hunter films. Aria can also be seen every Christmas on Lifetime in the movie “Christmas in Paradise.” 

Aria is very well known for her reoccurring role as the whacky obsessed character Mandy on Nickelodeon’s hit show “iCarly.”
