GolinHarris/Starlight Texas Intern
The internship will include experience in twelve core competencies with an emphasis on supporting marketing/PR, corporate social responsibility, social networking, fundraising and events. The intern will work under the supervision of GolinHarris, alongside Starlight's key regional leaders who have solid knowledge and experience in the nonprofit sector. The intern will gain valuable experience performing functions that build his/her understanding of corporate citizenship, current marketing/PR practices and nonprofit fundraising.
The intern will serve three months, forty hours per week, supervised by the GolinHarris team in their Dallas office and the Community Development Officer for Starlight Texas who is, in effect, the client. The intern will participate in daily account activities, such as creative and strategic planning, media relations, research, as well as special event coordination and execution. GolinHarris matches the intern with a mentor to help maximize their unique and irreplaceable learning experience.
