 Stalight Chirldren's Foundation will be featured in an episode of ABC's hit show The Bachelor on January 21st. Tune in to see Bachelor Sean Lowe and his one-on-one date surprise two girls with chronic illness with a day they'll never forget.

Brianna (17) and Emilie (20) met on Starbright World, Starlight's closed social network for seriously ill teens
and their siblings in September 2011. They instantly
bonded over a share love of pop culture, rollercoasters
and of course their experience living with mitochondrial
disease, a failure of the mitochondria, which can lead to
muscle weakness, visual problems, organ disease,
respiratory disorders, and neurological problems.

Despite living thousands of miles apart, Brianna and Emilie
became best friends over Starbright World and dreamed
of one day meeting in-person.
