Starlight Children's Foundation hosts hottest Oscar Night event in Washington State!

On Sunday, February 27, 2011, 250 guests joined Starlight Children's Foundation Northwest at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel for the only Oscar® Night party in Washington that is sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Guests of Starlight's Oscar Night® America Gala viewed the Oscars live telecast from the best seats in town and experienced an evening to remember.

This black-tie event offered the glitz and excitement of the 83rd Annual Academy Awards live telecast complete with a red-carpet event with live music, an open bar with signature cocktails, red carpet photographs and interviews, and a silent auction; a live auction with celebrity auctioneer, Pat Cashman; a five-star dinner by the renowned chefs of The Fairmont Olympic Hotel; and a program featuring guest speaker and Starlight Mom, Courtney Fagan, whose story provided moving insight into the critical impact of Starlight's programs.

The evening raised nearly $150,000 to support the critical work of Starlight Children's Foundation Northwest.
