America's Charities

Starlight is proud to be a member of America's Charities - a federation of the nation's best-known and most-loved charitable organizations that provide direct services in thousands of local communities, across America and around the world. 

Through America’s Charities, Starlight is an eligible charity recipient in the nationwide Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for all federal governmental agencies, designated #11305.  America’s Charities also participates in many state and local public sector campaigns around the country.  Look for us in your public agency’s work place giving brochure or website and direct at least a portion of your valuable dollars to transforming the lives of sick kids and their families.

Private companies can also include America’s Charities as a charitable option in their employees’ workplace giving program and many of the country’s largest corporations already have done so.  If this is the case with your employer, look for Starlight Children’s Foundation under America’s Charities section on your campaign giving form or website. If America’s Charities is not part of your employer’s program, ask your Human Resources Director to reach out to America’s Charities and invite them to participate.  A world of charitable options will become available to you and your colleagues.

Does your Workplace Giving Program Allow Write-in Charities? 

Your company may have a workplace giving payroll deduction program that is charity-specific based on employee nominations and selections.  If so, ask your Human Resources Director if you can include Starlight Children’s Foundation as one of your employer’s charitable options.  If your HR department would like more information about Starlight and how we can contribute to a successful workplace giving campaign, have them Starlight at (310) 479.1212. 

Double or Triple your Donation through an Employer Matching Gift 

Does your employer offer to match employee donations?  If so, you can instantly double or triple the gift you make to seriously ill children and their families.  If your company participates in this program, simply fill out your company’s matching gift form and mail it to Starlight along with your contribution.  If your company is not enrolled, ask your HR representative for more information.
