The Dunkin’ Donuts Joy in Childhood Foundation is pleased to announce that Ramona of Chicago, IL is the winner of its Dunkin’ Donuts Joy in Childhood Foundation Starlight Design-a-Gown Contest. Eleven-year-old Ramona designed a space-themed gown featuring colorful stars, planets and astronauts that she hopes will provide a distraction to children when they are in the hospital. Because she was born with a congenital heart defect and has undergone 14 surgeries, she is not eligible for sports, so she has instead found joy in artistic expression and has become a very talented young artist. Congratulations, Ramona!

Thanks to all who entered and voted in the contest and for showing us what brings you JOY.

The Joy in Childhood Foundation, the charitable foundation supported by the Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins brands, provides the joys of childhood to kids when they need it most. The Foundation brings together a wide range of stakeholders — including franchisees, crew members, employees, partners and guests — and partners with food banks, children’s hospitals, and nonprofit organizations directly committed to serving kids to fund joyful environments, joyful experiences and joyful expressions to ensure that children whose lives are compromised by hunger or sickness have the support and essential services to find joy in their daily lives. Since launching in 2006, the Joy in Childhood Foundation has granted more than $16 million to hundreds of national and local charities across the country. For more information, visit
