Davis Seefeldt is a patient at The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma.
The 18-year-old is known around the hospital for his love of sports. He likes to wear orange as often as possible, in support of his beloved Oklahoma State University Cowboys and Oklahoma City Thunder.
This year, Davis attended his senior prom at The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital and was crowned prom king. His older sister, Olivia, escorted him to the prom. Davis was able to use a VGo robot and share his prom king crowning ceremony with fellow patients who couldn’t attend the prom because of medical precautions. Patients at bedside were able to watch as Davis was declared prom king through the two-way audiovisuals on the robots.
As a Starlight community partner, The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital received two VGo robots funded as part of a $250,000 grant from Astellas USA Foundation.
