During COVID-19 We Are Still Delivering Happiness

For more than 35 years, Starlight has lived by one simple but important mission—delivering happiness to seriously ill kids. Our programs have positively impacted more than 16 million hospitalized kids across the country during some of their scariest and most stressful moments. The need for Starlight Programs has never been more important.

Our hospital partners are inundated and struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic. Hospitalized kids are impacted more than ever. Right now, hospitals are restricting visitors and closing communal spaces like playrooms and teen lounges, causing seriously ill kids to feel even more isolated and alone. As a result, hospitals are turning to Starlight Programs to provide entertainment, fun, and much-needed distraction.

We’re incredibly thankful and appreciative of the dedication and tireless work of our nation’s hospitals and health care professionals. This includes our incredible hospital partners across the U.S. and their commitment to the health and wellbeing pediatric patients and families during this time of need.

As we navigate through the crisis together, below are some resources we hope you might find helpful.
