Play Week celebrates the power of play in pediatric care—play your way and deliver happiness to seriously ill kids.

Fundraise for Play With Starlight
This June, be a part of a community turning what they love into something meaningful delivering happiness, comfort, and play to seriously ill children in hospitals. Whether you are walking, running, streaming, brick building, celebrating a fandom, or donating you're helping deliver moments that matter.
In children’s hospitals, play isn’t just fun—it’s essential. Play helps kids cope with fear and anxiety, builds trust, and lets them feel like kids first, patients second. Hospitals rely on partners like Starlight, and supporters like you, to make play possible.
Join us June 1-15th to make that possible, in whatever way you play.

A 10-day virtual movement challenge where participants walk, run, or play in whatever way works for them, while fundraising and sharing their story to inspire others.

Ghostbusters Day
This June 8, join us as we kick off the second annual Ghostbusters Give Back initiative in collaboration with Ghost Corps. Since 2021, fans everywhere have answered the call for sick kids, raising more than $150K to bring Ghostbusters-themed Starlight hospital gowns to hospitals across the country. Motivated by a generous matching gift from Sony Pictures Entertainment, fan groups have raised $70K since last June — celebrate this beloved fan holiday by supporting one of these dedicated fundraisers!

Stream for Starlight
Play-centered creators and communities across the country to stream, create, and fundraise. Play Week is driven by creators in gaming, LEGO, tabletop, and other play-focused spaces

Play is Essential to Care
On the International Day of Play, we celebrate the power of play to bring comfort, connection, and healing when it’s needed most.
Starlight’s evidence-based programs use play to strengthen bonds between patients, families, and care teams improving experiences and outcomes along the way.
We believe Healing Begins with Happiness™, and you can help make that possible. Donate today to deliver toys and moments of happiness to kids who need it most.

Family Advocacy Day with Children’s Hospital Association
Family Advocacy Day (FAD) is Children’s Hospital Association’s marquee advocacy event, held in June, brings patients and families to Washington, D.C., to champion stronger pediatric care.
“We’re so honored to collaborate with Children’s Hospital Association for its Family Advocacy Day to support raising awareness about the vital care provided by children’s hospitals across the country. Child life teams and healthcare providers rely on Starlight to provide play-based programs that support pediatric patients throughout their medical journey. It’s through partnerships like this that we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families when they need it most.”– Adam Garone, CEO of Starlight Children’s Foundation
