Welcome to TeamStarlight

Starlight Children’s Foundation’s official charity running team.

🛑 Before you register, please read this page in full. By completing registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and deadlines outlined below.

Registration Includes

  1. Registration for your selected race

  2. Team shirt, pin, and additional swag

  3. A customizable fundraising page with dedicated staff support

  4. Invitation to the Team Starlight meetup during race weekend

  5. Access to a charity room block link for discounted hotel accommodations

Not included: Lodging, meals, airfare, or Disney park tickets. Access to a discounted room block is provided, but booking and costs are the runner's responsibility.

Before Your Race

Register with Team Starlight

Visit the registration page for your preferred race and complete the registration form to create your profile and fundraising page. If a specific race bib is not displayed on the registration page, it is no longer available. You must register for one person at a time, but you can register for multiple races at once.

After registering, check your email for a link to confirm your registration and set up your fundraising page. You must click "Start Fundraising" in that email to set up an account. Upon successful login, you will be prompted to add a credit card as a backup payment to guarantee your fundraising commitment. No charge is made at this time. Check your spam folder if you don't see this email, or contact us at run@starlight.org.

Reach 50% to Receive Your runDisney Registration Link

Registering with Team Starlight does not register you with runDisney. Once you reach 50% of your fundraising commitment, you'll receive a unique link to complete your runDisney registration. This link is sent manually, typically within 3–5 business days of you reaching this milestone.

Links will not be available until after public registration has opened. If you register early and reach 50% before this date, you will receive your link as soon as they are made available to us.

Meet Your Deadlines

Three deadlines apply to every race. These are detailed below and on each race registration page. We strongly recommend adding them to your calendar the moment you register.

Deadline Details

  1. 50- Deadline WebTile

    50% Fundraising Deadline

    You must reach 50% of your fundraising commitment by this date to receive your runDisney registration link. This deadline is set approximately 4–6 months before race weekend to align with runDisney's Proof of Time (POT) submission window. If you are not submitting a Proof of Time, there is no penalty for reaching 50% after this date, provided all other deadlines are met.

  2. Final Drop WebTile

    Final Drop Deadline

    This is the last date you may withdraw from Team Starlight without penalty — set approximately 2 months before race weekend. If you withdraw before this date, you will not be required to meet your full fundraising commitment. However, any donations already received and any registration fees paid are non-refundable. If you withdraw after this date, the full remaining commitment balance will be charged to the card on file on the day of withdrawal.

  3. 100- Deadline WebTile

    TeamStarlight 100% Fundraising Deadline

    This is the final date to meet your full fundraising commitment — set approximately 1 month before race weekend. Any remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file within 2 business days. Multiple reminder emails will be sent to the address on file leading up to this deadline from run@starlight.org — please add this to your safe sender list. Once a charge is processed, refunds cannot be issued. If a card is declined, we will make multiple attempts to reach you by email and phone. If payment is not received within 5 business days of the 100% deadline, your bib will be released to the waitlist and you will not be able to pick up a bib on race weekend.

Inactive Fundraising

Starlight reserves the right to remove individuals from the team due to inactive fundraising and non-communication. If your fundraiser is inactive and multiple email outreach attempts go unanswered by the Final Drop deadline, your bib will be released to our wait list.
