Starlight Children’s Foundation Launches Sweepstake in Collaboration with MoneyGram and MoneyGram Haas F1 Team

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 25, 2024 – Starlight Children’s Foundation joins forces with MoneyGram and MoneyGram Haas F1 Team to give one lucky winner a unique piece of Formula 1 history. Over the holidays, MoneyGram premiered The Gift They Really Want, a creative ad campaign featuring members of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team receiving extraordinary hand-made gifts, including a one-of-a-kind knitted driver’s suit worn by Kevin Magnussen.
F1 Super Fans will have the chance to win this knitted suit through a unique sweepstake opportunity. All proceeds from the giveaway will benefit Starlight Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit that provides vital programs to help combat feelings of stress, loneliness and anxiety pediatric patients feel during their hospitalizations.

Hospitalization can be a lonely and stressful experience for kids. Starlight Children’s Foundation aims to help make the journey to recovery and healing a little brighter through essential programs – like Starlight Gaming, Starlight Virtual Reality, Starlight Hospital Gowns and more – that offer entertainment and therapeutic play while creating a sense of normalcy in an unfamiliar environment.
Through the partnership with MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, Starlight developed and launched a nationwide distribution of the VF-23-themed hospital gown, bringing the thrill and excitement of racing to hospitalized kids. Starlight’s vital programs are donor-funded and offered free of charge to pediatric facilities that are part of the nonprofit’s nationwide healthcare network. Child life teams and clinicians utilize Starlight programs to help children feel more comfortable and engaged during their medical journey.
The sweepstakes will take place from Friday, January 26, to Sunday, January 28, at midnight PST, and the winner will be drawn Thursday, February 1, at 3 p.m. PST. The contest is open to all U.S. residents. No purchase or donation is necessary.
