A Magical Weekend at runDisney
At the end of February, members of the Starlight team traveled to Orlando, Florida to participate in the runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend and represent Starlight as the event’s official celebrated charity.

We interacted with runners and expo visitors to spotlight Starlight’s mission and our partnership with Disney, including our Disney Princess-themed Starlight Hospital Wear!

Visitors who stopped by our booth could write notes to hospitalized kids for our Well Wishes Wall, play on an official Starlight Nintendo Switch Gaming Station, design their own Starlight Gown, or even donate to deliver a Starlight Gown to a sick child. Young attendees were especially excited to have their parents scan the QR codes printed on the Disney Princess-themed Starlight Gowns so they could access storybooks featuring tales about their favorite princesses.
Plus, Starlight CEO, Adam Garone, kicked off each race by speaking to the runners about how Starlight delivers happiness to seriously ill kids and how their participation in the race helps fund more programs for hospitals across the country.
