Ms. Rachel Toys and Hospital Visit for Starlight Kids!

Last month, pediatric patients at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Lerner Children’s Pavilion in New York City received a special delivery of toys and a visit from American YouTube sensation and child educator Ms. Rachel!  

In collaboration with Ms. Rachel and Spin Master, Starlight distributed her new line of plush dolls, surprise boxes, and Speak & Sing dolls to the children. Ms. Rachel and Mr. Aron performed an exclusive sing-along for the families, doctors and staff to enjoy! 

Toy deliveries bring moments of joy to pediatric patients, offering them a sense of familiarity in an otherwise unfamiliar hospital setting. These thoughtful gifts provide children with a positive distraction, helping to create a more comforting and uplifting experience during their care.

We are grateful for the partnership between Ms. Rachel, Spin Master, and HSS. Events like these give pediatric patients a much-needed break from the daily challenges they face. 

Starlight continues to support pediatric patients nationwide throughout their entire hospital journey. Families can also register for the Starlight Families program, which bridges the gap between the in-hospital and at-home journey. Families can access free resources including an Asset Library full of over 100 resources, developed by Child Life Specialists, across 12 different categories, including coping skills, diagnosis-specific support, therapeutic activities, and pain management.
