Starlight Hub Shipping Terms & FAQ

How long will it take to receive my order? 
Programs Added to your Wishlist 

Each of our programs is placed once we secure funding from our generous partners, local fundraisers, and individual donors. Once we identify your facility as a recipient, and verify all shipping information, we’ll start the fulfillment process. As each program has a different production timeline and available inventory, the general timelines also vary. Please see below for general guidelines of what to expect regarding shipping timelines: 

  • Starlight Nintendo Switch and Starlight Virtual Reality – typically fulfilled within 4 weeks 

  • Hospital Gowns – depending on the complexity of production, gowns will be fulfilled in 6-12 weeks. *Exclusions may apply 

  • Starlight Spaces – varies based on contract, see your Starlight contact for details. 

Starlight Deliveries 

Starlight Deliveries are fulfilled based on availability of products donated by our corporate partners (gift-in-kind toy donations, Radio Flyer Wagons, Digital Resources, etc…). These items are fulfilled as the orders are received and you can typically expect to receive your order in 2-4 weeks. Radio Flyer Wagons are shipped on a quarterly basis on/after April 1st, July 1st, October 1st, January 1st. 

Starlight Nintendo Switch Gaming Stations and Starlight Virtual Reality are currently also available for purchase, if you choose to fund the program through your facility or a private donor directly. If you choose to outright purchase one of these programs, please request a quote by clicking the indicated button on the product page. Once we receive payment, the fulfillment timeline is the same as wishlist program fulfillment typically within 4 weeks.

Who will deliver my package(s)? 
In our efforts to Deliver Happiness, we do our best to make every dollar count. This means we use a variety of shipping services to make sure you're always getting the best possible price available at the time (this also helps in parts of the US that are harder to support with deliveries).  

If you'd like to know the specific delivery service to expect, please wait for an email update indicating your item has shipped – this should include all tracking information.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been placed? 
Depending on how much time has passed since the order was placed, we may not be able to re-route your package. 

If you do need to change the shipping address, please reach out to us at logistics@starlight.org or call us at 424-245-3687 as soon as possible and we'll do everything we can to accommodate your request! 

My order never arrived - what should I do? 
Please reach out to us at logistics@starlight.org and we'll help resolve the issue. 

Shipping Costs 
In cases where a product is donated or funded by a partner, all shipping costs are covered! 

If you opt to purchase a program directly, the shipping costs are included in the cost of the program.  

*If your order is unusually large or heavy, there may be additional charges – if applicable, these will be confirmed and verified before you're invoiced.  

Sales Tax (only applies if you opt to purchase a program directly instead of adding it to your wishlist) 
In light of a recent Supreme Court decision in South Dakota vs. Wayfair Inc., and based on individual state and local tax laws, we collect and remit taxes accordingly. 

Sales tax applies based on the shipping address*, not the billing address. This means you may still be charged sales tax, even if you live in a state where it does not apply, based on the final destination. 

Sales tax rates vary by state.  

*If your facility is tax exempt, you must have a valid tax exemption form on file. If you have any questions about this process, or want to provide your tax exemption form, please reach out to logistics@starlight.org 

 Do you ship internationally? 
We do not currently ship outside of the US, but we are working to expand our reach to Deliver Happiness anywhere we can help.
