Starlight and MLB: Still Hitting It Off in 2021

In 2021, MLB is continuing its longstanding partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation by funding Starlight Nintendo Switch handhelds. A total of 15 MLB Clubs donated two handhelds each to their local hospital, which came pre-loaded with R.B.I. Baseball 21 compliments of MLB. In addition, to games,streaming services — like Hulu, Netflix, Animal Crossing, and Mario Odyssey — were loaded onto every Starlight Gaming station in these hospitals.

Starlight Gaming delivers happiness to seriously ill children by providing hours of fun and distraction through video games and streaming services.

The handheld is the newest addition to Starlight Gaming. This portable iteration of the Starlight Nintendo Switch Gaming station allows healthcare professionals more flexibility in a hospital environment while providing just as much fun as the Gaming station.

We cannot wait to see the smiles and happiness that these Starlight handhelds bring to hospitalized kids around the country.
