Streamers Deliver Happiness Throughout 2021

In just the third year of Stream For Starlight, broadcasters and their communities have already raised over $910,000 to deliver happiness to seriously ill kids and their families! These generous donations have helped fund hundreds of pallets of toys, books, and games through Starlight Deliveries, entertaining Starlight Gaming stations, colorful Starlight Gowns, and so much more.

The only thing better than playing video games is sharing them with others. Over 80 Nintendo Switch handhelds and Gaming stations have gone to hospitals across the country on behalf of streaming communities!

Gaming stations can roll anywhere in the hospital and be easily used to keep hospitalized kids like Demi, a five-year-old childhood cancer warrior, entertained and distracted.

Reflecting on 2021, we know we couldn’t deliver happiness without everyone sharing their favorite games, best recipes, and loving hearts.

Summer Stream

Months later, broadcasters answered our call to play all day and deliver happiness to hospitalized kids. From June 24 – 27, over 45 streamers raised nearly $45,000!

Thanks to everyone’s support, we delivered the magic of Starlight programs to help seriously ill kids feel like kids this summer. We appreciate every community that joined for wonderful concerts, skilled gaming, and even some eyebrow shaving.

September S4S

This September was our most-successful streaming campaign yet. More than 210 broadcasters united to raise $279,000 in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!

This campaign was full of milestones, including hosting the two-day Starlight Summit, launching our Ambassador program, and funding over 50 Nintendo Switch handhelds and Gaming stations for hospitals across the US. Talk about giving the gift of gaming!

Stream Halloween

Just weeks later, broadcasters put on their spookiest costume to join our first-ever Stream Halloween. Hospitalized kids couldn’t trick-or-treat this year, but they still safely celebrated with Starlight programs! Streamers played their favorite horror games, baked a delicious treat, and sang scary good tunes.

Thanks to their support, our partner hospitals received colorful Starlight Gowns that double as costumes and Deliveries of treats including toys and books.

Thank you from the entire Starlight Family! Whether you streamed, watched, or donated, we so appreciate you!

P.S.

There’s one more Stream For Starlight campaign to go! From December 1 – 12, there will be 12 days of prizing and festive streams with more than 50 content creators.

Help us hit a milestone of $1,000,000 raised for seriously ill kids by joining our next streaming campaign.
