Spring Stream: Where Happiness Blooms for Hospitalized Kids

This March, Stream for Starlight’s 2026 Spring Stream campaign brought everything we love about our community: high energy, nonstop fun and creators who show up for something bigger.

Charity streamers across Twitch didn’t just go live, they turned streams into a way to deliver happiness to hospitalized kids.

With 128 creators going live and rallying their communities, the S4S fam raised an amazing $132,000!

These funds are turning into real impact – helping hospitalized kids through their toughest battles. Oftentimes kids may feel lonely because they can’t see their family or friends or anxious about a painful procedure.

By fundraising Starlight programs, the Stream for Starlight community is empowering kids with moments of play, comfort and distraction. They feel at ease instead of anxious, in control instead of uncertain, and like a kid first and patient second.

This Spring Stream campaign, creators have funded 81 Starlight Gaming handhelds. Thanks to our special partners, every handheld funded is being matched with an additional handheld placed at a hospital that serves medically underserved and vulnerable populations within Starlight’s network.

That translates into 162 Starlight Gaming handhelds delivered!

The favorite 50K to Mar10 Day raid train returned again with even more hype! Streamers went all-in for a 50-hour marathon, pushing towards a $50,000 fundraising goal by March 10th, or Mario Day.

To add to the hype, streamers created fun incentives and milestones for their community, including:

• Dressing up in as characters like Mario and Luigi

• Just Dance streams

• 12 hour Streams

• New emote chosen by chat

• $1 donation to enter a raffle for a gift card

Every creator has their own reason for getting involved. For some, they’ve personally experienced or know someone who’s experienced hospital stays. For others, they want to use their platform to give back.

Across every stream, our community stands united with a common goal: turn fun into something meaningful.
