Starlight Gowns Through the Years

Starlight Gowns are created with children’s comfort in mind. They replace uncomfortable and embarrassing hospital gowns with ones that are high-quality, comfortable, and brightly colored. They are designed with plastic snaps on the sleeves and ties down the side to provide better coverage for kids and easier access for hospital staff during medical procedures.

Best of all, kids love to wear them!

We’ve collected some of our favorite Starlight Gown moments since the program launched in 2017.

With the help of Starlight Gowns, kids can transform into veterinarians or travel to space! The astronaut-themed Gown always brought a smile to Starlight Kid Finn’s face, even during his countless hospital visits.

Design-A-Gown
In 2018, we launched our very first Design-A-Gown campaign, where we invited people across the country to design the next Starlight Gown! Jack won the first Design-A-Gown when he created a design for his little sister, Everly, who was born with a congenital heart defect.

Jack included hearts because he wanted to be sure that Everly is surrounded by love whenever she’s in the hospital. Everly wore Jack’s Starlight Gown during her third open-heart surgery, meaning her older brother was there in spirit even though he couldn’t be in the operating room.
