Our impact is real

  • Back in 1992, we created the first-ever Starlight Gaming console fully customized to deliver happiness to seriously ill children.

  • Fast forward to 2019, and more than 11 million hospitalized kids have enjoyed playing their favorite video games thanks to Starlight.

  • On average, six kids a day enjoy their favorite video games, movies, and TV shows on a Starlight Gaming console. With more than 1,000 Gaming programs active around the US, that means that 6,000 seriously ill kids play and have fun on a Starlight Gaming console each day.

Our programs help distract from and transcend a really tough situation. Because at the end of the day, sick kids are still kids and kids just want to play.

It allowed her to have fun for hours and allowed us a little bit of a break. To see her happy again was so awesome.
